Dr. Christine Wells Smith, Director of Channel Partnerships at EnGen, brings over 20 years of educational experience to her role. Beginning as a K-12 ESL teacher and progressing through various roles including adult education teacher, school principal, and director for teaching and learning, Christine has developed a deep understanding of the education landscape. Her empathetic approach and sensitivity to the needs of educators make her a valuable asset to her clients.
Christine's expertise extends to research and training, with a focus on implementing inclusive curricula and teaching practices. Since 2016, she has conducted numerous staff development sessions on school improvement, educator induction, mentoring, and assessments. Her dynamic presentation style and passion for her work ensure engaging and effective training sessions.
In 2022, Christine joined EnGen, a Certified B Corporation dedicated to providing high-quality English instruction to immigrants and refugees. Through her role, she aims to make a sustainable impact by empowering individuals to advocate for themselves and improve their economic outcomes.
