A. P. Anderson is a Research and Instruction Librarian at Texas A&M University - Commerce's Velma K. Waters Library. Their professional focus is on information literacy education, particularly in terms of helping students develop the critical information searching, evaluation, and application skills necessary to navigate the digital research landscape. One of their main research interests is in information equity and reducing barriers to information access due to inequality. As a member of TAMUC’s AI Initiative, Anderson has developed workshops for faculty and staff to offer training and guidance on how to adapt to generative AI’s growing presence in higher education. Anderson completed their Master of Library Science at Texas Woman’s University in 2020.
