Jenny Bossaller is an Associate Professor at the School of Information Science & Learning Technologies (SISLT) at the University of Missouri – Columbia (MU). Her teaching and research focus broadly encompasses public libraries, information policy, history of libraries and information, and related social and technological phenomena. She has focused especially on the public’s access to information. She co-developed a public library leadership program that emphasizes community and professional immersion, and has strengthened the school's health librarianship program. Prior to entering academia, she held positions in public and academic library settings, and with the MOBIUS Consortium Office. She holds degrees in Archaeology (B.A.), Library Science (M.A.), and Information Science (PhD) from the University of Missouri. She is a member of the American Association of University Professors.
